(Exhibited at “Sostenere il Futuro”, Second Scuderie of Castello Sforzesco, Vigevano – part of the 10th Festival of Transformations)

Mindstorm is a composite work that exists between two dimensions — digital and material — exploring the unstable boundary between clarity and chaos, perception and abstraction.

Presented within the exhibition “Sostenere il Futuro”, the project reflects on the idea of digital sustainability not only as a technological issue but as a cultural necessity: how can we sustain the act of thinking, feeling, and creating within a world governed by velocity and information flow?

The work unfolds in two forms — a digital composition and an oil painting — both derived from the same source drawing.
The digital version captures the instantaneous rhythm of the mind, a storm of light and shadow in perpetual motion. The painting translates that movement into matter and gesture, allowing time, density, and silence to re-enter the image.

Rendered almost entirely in black, white, and shades of gray, Mindstorm becomes a landscape of thought stripped of distraction — a visual meditation on consciousness itself.
It asks whether thought can remain poetic in an age of acceleration, and whether within the digital storm there still lies a quiet, sustainable center.
